The PDF: https://www.opencompute.org/documents/universal-baseboard-design-specification-v1p5-final-20220223-docx-pdf says that the OAMs can be ASICs or GPU from anyone complying with the spec; so UBBs are interchangeable and OAMs are mix and match – as for software support, that’s a different question.

@Patrick Are all “Universal Baseboard (UBB)”s electrically compatible? Can you simply pull an Nvidia UBB and drop in an AMD UBB, if not what’s “universal” – I’d ask the same question for the OAM but I’m thinking that’s vaguely hinted at by saying that the switches are different.
